National Jewish Early Childhood Organizations

The National Jewish Early Childhood Network (NJECN) was established to provide Jewish cultural, educational and networking opportunities for Jewish early childhood educators attending the annual conference of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The Network maintains a membership list of 600 people with 250 - 350 attendees at each NAEYC conference. The National Association for Jewish Early Childhood Specialists (NAJECS) consists of early childhood consultants who provide community-level advocacy and professional development services to Jewish early childhood programs throughout North America. Jewish Early Childhood Initiative (JECI) has a focus of developing model Jewish Early Childhood Programs on a National level.  This initiative is headed by Diana Ganger dganger@jeci.org and Mark Horowitz  mark@jeci.org.
